My experience

I’ve held leadership roles across ESG and marketing, and have been a charity CEO. Clients say they particularly value my understanding of both the corporate and non-profit sectors. I find it hugely rewarding to help unleash the power of purpose on key metrics including employee engagement, brand, income, profit and impact, and build towards a fairer and more sustainable future.

I have a track record of developing strategy based on insight, driving transformation, and delivering national programmes and campaigns. After 15 years working in commercial marketing I was appointed to the newly created Marketing and Fundraising Director for BBC Children in Need, where I led a rebrand and increased income by 22%. I subsequently joined the BBC Marketing leadership team and worked in various central and divisional marketing roles. I then moved to Global, a commercial media group, as Founder CEO of Global’s Make Some Noise, the in-house charity which delivers grants, awareness and learning programmes for projects working across physical and mental health, shelter and safety, isolation and life skills. An expanded remit saw me take on the broader Social Impact agenda which encompassed community, education, environment and EDI. I was instrumental in setting up a new secondary school sponsored by the business, helping to level the playing field for routes into the media industry, and led a 5 year youth employment programme commissioned by the National Lottery Community Fund.

My clients include charities and companies, most recently in sport, education, health, travel and media.
